Prank call made a call at Delhi CM Arvind Kerjiwal residence

Delhi Police have registered a complaint against an unknown caller who on Monday called up Delhi Chief Minister's residence, saying that a man named 'Bholo' was planning to attack Arvind Kejriwal, said a police officer.
An attendant received a call on a landline number at Arvind Kejriwal residence in north Delhi around 11.30 a.m. on Monday.

Nitin Gadkari to inaugurate bridge over Ravi on January 22

Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari will on Tuesday inaugurate a 1,210-meter span-bridge over the Ravi river in Jammu and Kashmir which would reduce the distance between Kathua in Jammu and Patankot in Punjab by around 36 km.
Constructed at a cost of Rs 158.84 crore, the bridge would improve inter-state connectivity and benefit over 2,20,000 people living on the two sides -- Kathua in Jammu and Pathankot in Punjab, a Ministry statement said.

Man mauled to death by lions at zoo near Chandigarh

Chandigarh: A man was mauled to death by lions on Sunday at Chhatbir Zoo in Zirakpur, around 20 km from Chandigarh. According to zoo officials, the man entered the enclosure by scaling an over-25-feet wall and as soon as he crossed over, he was attacked by two lions. Officials said the incident happened at 2.20 pm and the man, who is in his early 30s, was yet to be identified.

Mumbai: Locals sound alert over danger to mangroves patch in Andheri

Once again, the city's mangroves are in danger of being destroyed. This time, it is a patch of mangroves adjacent to the Lokhandwala back road on a 200-metres stretch, where construction material debris is being dumped. Interestingly, the stretch goes towards a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) garbage segregation unit. Activists say the Mangroves Cell should act before it's too late.
